Position: Warehouse Technician Level 1
Summary:
The Warehouse Technician supports daily warehouse operations by maintaining cleanliness and organization, assisting with loading and unloading vehicles, and working across departments to help fulfill equipment orders, show returns, and equipment restocking. This is an entry-level position that requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow explicit instructions, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The position reports to the Warehouse Lead or designated manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Major Responsibilities
1. Warehouse Cleanliness & Organization
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Follow warehouse storage standards and procedures.
- Keep aisles, workstations, and emergency exits clear.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
2. Loading/Unloading Vehicles
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, vans, and trailers.
- Secure equipment according to company safety standards.
- Support logistics personnel during warehouse operations.
3. Equipment Prep, Return, & Handling
- Assist departments in pulling, prepping, and returning equipment orders.
- Help stage, load, and secure outbound equipment.
- Unload and organize inbound equipment to the proper warehouse locations.
- Follow quality standards as well as Gateway’s standards of preparation.
- Utilize Flex inventory software as requested.
4. Attendance
- Attendance is an essential requirement for this position.
5. Any and all other duties
- To be determined by supervisor on a permanent or project basis.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certificates
- High School diploma or 2 years hands-on experience in warehouse or event production fields.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain a certification).
