Position: Facilities & Maintenance Manager
Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities and Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair of all Gateway Studios & Productions Services facilities. The Facilities and Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians and ensuring that our facilities are well maintained and operating at peak performance. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in maintenance and facilities management, with experience in landscaping and groundskeeping. This includes, but is not limited to, developing maintenance plans, managing budgets, scheduling work orders, and supervising the maintenance team. This is a leadership position that requires excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Major Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Maintenance Management
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans for facilities and grounds.
  • Manage a team of Maintenance Technicians, providing leadership and guidance to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to Gateway standards.
  • Manage the maintenance and repair of all company facilities, including building structures, grounds, and equipment.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance and maintenance plans and schedules to ensure that all facilities and equipment are properly maintained and repaired as necessary.
  • Implement and maintain a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track maintenance activities and ensure timely completion of work orders.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement and take appropriate action.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, and implement measures to improve safety performance.
  • Respond to emergency situations and take appropriate measures to ensure the safety of employees and visitors.
2. Budgeting & Purchasing
  • Develop and manage a facilities budget, including forecasting expenses and allocating resources
  • Monitor and manage the budget for facilities and maintenance, ensuring that costs are controlled and appropriate resources are allocated.
  • Oversee the procurement of equipment, materials, and services required for maintenance and repairs.
3. Collaboration & Communication
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that facilities meet the needs of the business and are aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
4. Attendance
  • Attendance is an essential requirement for this position.
5. Any Other Duties as Assigned by Supervisor
  • To be determined by supervisor on a permanent or project basis.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience/Skills
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in facilities management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems quickly and effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Ability to manage budgets and allocate resources effectively.
  • Availability to respond to emergency situations outside of regular business hours.
